Time Warner Cable Takes Over Comcast, Adelphia (NE Ohio) (http://www.newsnet5.com/money/9573815/detail.html)

So, apparently the Adelphia juggernaut in the greater Cleveland area is finally giving way to Time Warner... anyone have Time Warner? Curious as to what to expect. Service, channels available (or not), costs, headaches... anyone?

I got no complaints here. Decent DVR and HD channels. They have the usual array of channels from local to digital, premium and pay per view. The front end for their digital package is far superior to Insight (what most of cowtown is stuck with), and the broadband is excellent (5 Mbps downstream). I don't think you can really do better with ala carte services like sattelite and DSL.

I've got Time Warner in LA. Works well for us. We add and subtract stuff several times a year. No biggie. Use their Tivo like box. That works well too.
