If there never was a France there wouldn't have been a Napoleon which means no napoleon pastry. No Napoleon, no Waterloo. No Waterloo, no classic tune by ABBA.

No France, no classic poetry about excrement, to wit:

"Recess of great comfort
Whether it is situated
in the fields or in the city
Recess in which no one dare enter
Except for cleaning his stomach
Recess of great dignity"

"When the cherries become ripe
Many black soils of strange shapes
Will breed for many days and urgents
Then will mature and become products of various colors and breaths"

"What am I seeing oh! God
It is night soil
What a wonderful substance it is It is excreted by
the greatest of all Kings
Its odor speaks of majesty"

If it wasn't for France you Yanks would still be speaking the Queen's English.... ;)

It just would have taken longer to kick out the oppressors. ;)

no the most exciting race  . if not for Trulli's fubar, Yoda looks like they are improving steadily.

Scotty with a 10th place is respectable for sure.

congrats Chin.

Notice Schuie hasn't broken a sweat & Massa is KO'd...

Yoda looks like they are improving steadily. As long as the track is billiard table smooth and the tires are clearly the best...

Good grief! No wonder it was such a snoozefest..... Get rid of Magney Bore! :shakehead

These are the passes I read for the 2006 French GP:

Lap Place Passer (Passed)
==========================================
2 18 Liuzzi (Albers)
6 12 Speed (Barrichello)
14 13 Villeneuve (Barrichello)
27 4 Räikkönen (Trulli)
37 9 de la Rosa (Heidfeld)

That's 5 passes in total, the same number as last season.
