Ol' AJ has found another young dirt tracking hot shoe!

Forty year old Jeff Bucknum will climb into the #14 car Friday for practice and qualifying for the Firestone Indy 200 at Nashville Saturday night. This will be Buttnumb's third drive for Foyt Racing, having subbed for AJ4 at Watkins Glen and Sears Point in 2005.

"Handling?" Uh huh...he was pulled. Amazing the Ringmaster of this circus is said to actually listen to this owner? Who's to say how great the racing could be with 6-8 more just like 'im!?

I heard TCGR gave the win to Dixon by telling Dan to tuck in behind him.

Dan supposedly told the team they hired the wrong driver to do those type things, he wanted to talk to Chip.

Then I guess he went directly to pit lane, stoped the car out on pit road and had quite and anamated conversation with the team.

Something about needing to save fuel.

Interesting though huh? Led most if not all the race and then has to save fuel...... behind his teamate???? Hmmmmmmmmmmm

Maybe there is something to all the bad pitstops and such that have bit 'em in the arse. :saywhat:

Chip likely took no crap on this. The two are close enough in points that if Dixon was beyind in the same situation Chip would had said the same thing.

A regardless, Danno needed reminding that if he wants to race his teammate he can go right ahead and run out of fuel.

If Danno was upset, he shouldn't have wound up behind his teammate in the first place

True dat but I do think the caution after pit stops had something to do with it, don't know for sure.

I do know this though, Second Place is the First Loser.
