Maybe, but he never looked as I recall as if he was going to puke in Slingblade.

But who knows, he is a really good actor. Consider the variety from Slingblade to Bandits (not his best movie I'll admit but one I enjoy about the most on a stupid Sunday afternoon when their are no motorsports. :gomer:_)

I could see this "performance" as a whole Andy Koffman thing or just a highly Jim Beam toxified liver thing. Either way I'm not buying their 3-5 CDs

Until Billy Bob Thornton got all surly this week with that Canadian radio host, we'd never heard of his group The Boxmasters. So we'll take the opportunity to post some excerpts from the band's 2008 tour rider, which stipulated that the act be billed as "Billy Bob Thornton And Special Guests The Boxmasters" ('cause, you know, BBT does not want his famous Hollywood name to get in the way of the music).

Depends on the priest. If you have a stick in the mud priest, anything outside of traditional decorum won't fly. If you have a fun priest, he may be open for something fun, but not to the dancing extreme. (And I say that having attended masses where the priest leads a Bills cheer at the end of Mass).

Google sez Christ Lutheran Church in St. Paul, Minnesota, which is ECLA.

I've also seen pretty wide variation in Lutheran Ministers on the ECLA side. We were fortunate to be friends with a very groovy pastor and his family when I was young. He definitely showed that you can live your faith and still enjoy life.

Well, our priest was a hoot (he could put away gin & tonic with cocktail onions better than mhf :gomer:). In fact, he ended up leaving the priesthood a few years after we were married. However, the church itself wouldn't allow anything but the traditional service type wedding. :saywhat: Of course we were married in the cathedral downtown, which is more strict than your typical neighborhood church. However, every Catholic wedding I've been to since has required the tradition wedding service. :irked:
