Did anyone else notice that the right side of Wilson's rear wing was higher/ Sort of flipped up?

Unusual if intentional. Or is that just the wickebill coming apart?

I noticed it on the TV but didn't hear mention of it. I wonder how it effected his times.

I didn't notice it during the broadcast but it does look like the wickerbill is coming out. In the first linked photo you can see daylight under it. No idea how much difference it would make in lap times.

Good eyes to catch that on the tube. :saywhat: :)

I doubt that would have mattered much on a roadie, but it could have robbed a few hundreths, IMO. Seabass was simply checking out @ the end, so I don't see how it could have mattered.

When I saw it I thought it was just the wickerbill coming loose.

I noticed it very early in the race and it drove me nuts that no one ever mentioned it during the broadcast, even though a few times the camera was zooming right in on it.

Actually I watched the race on RD. But remember I had it blown up big with my borrowed data projector from work. :gomer:

I think it only could have mattered if JW could have put in a few quicker laps after his second stop and before SB second stop. If SB comes out behind him, I'm not sure SB could have gotten around him.

But it probably didn't matter.
