I thought the same thing. I get $20 when I take a 30 gal trash can of smashed cans in 2-3 times a year.

At a 5 cent deposit level, those cans should have received $3500 in refunds. Methinks they just got the per pound rate for the aluminum.

70,000 cans of 3.2 Coors Light :saywhat:

Grounds for suicide

Utah does not do the can/bottle deposit thing.

Aluminum goes by the pound.

Well good for you,
I hope you're proud.
You must like attention,
When in a crowd.
So keep on rhyming,
And don't delay.
I won't tell anyone,
That you're ...

Hey, you're not talking about that Michigan bottle-deposit scam where you round up bottles here and run 'em out to Michigan are you?

It doesn't work. You overload your inventory and you blow your margins on gasoline. Even running lean and mean you can't crunch the numbers.

Trust me, it doesn't work. ;)

Yes, Coors Light . . . so 70,000 divide by 4 = 17,500 equivalent to real beer.
