parrotheads. there is nothing more embarrassing than fat middle aged suburban mommies and daddies drunk on cheap tekillya singing cheeseburger in paradise. :shakehead

At least they added K-Fed.

Though James Lipton reciting the lyrics to PoPozao has to be one of the funniest things I've seen in awhile.

Dude, I can't rant on Grand-Am AND Pitchfork in the same day. What's left of my synapses will burn up.

<hateball raincheck>

I haven't listened to enough Tapes 'n Tapes to figure out just why they suck, but I'm sure they do.

Barely. I went into sensory overload circa Michael McDonald and haven't recovered yet.

Understandable. I went into system shutdown with the fat lady. This new Streets is bringing me back from my previous catatonic state, however. :)

why pop music is so bad today: MTV. The record companies screwed up when they put their future in the hands of MTV.

The same record companies are now getting told where to get reamed by Apple.

Right see the thing that's got it all f***ed up now is camera-phones.
How the hell am I supposed to be able to do a line in front of complete strangers
When I know they've all got cameras?

Nebula's better, but two of the Sword dudes used to live here in town, so I was easily swayed. They look too emo to play what they play though.

Here are a couple of pieces I found on CNN.com about the worst song of all time:

http://www.cnn.com/2006/SHOWBIZ/Music/04/25/worst.songs/index.html

Damn. American Pie earned a mention. Where's the love?

Yeah ok...'We Built This City', 'A Horse With No Name', and 'American Pie' are most certainly not bad songs at all. When you compare those to a lot of the garbage that's played today, it's not even close.

Those are probably more appropriately titled 'Songs that were pretty popular at one time so because they got a lot of airtime people kind of got sick of them after a while'. Which is a *whole* lot different than 'Worst song of all time'.

IMO, of course.
