I was about to put out the chat call for sunday morning, and happened to notice that Speed is not showing the race till next week....

I remembered the talk about one of the major networks picking up a few races, but i can't find it on any of their websites....

Is anyone stateside showing the race live? TSN starts at 7:30 am up here in canuckeland.....

In the states we have to wait for CBS at 1 EDT.

In the belly of the innernets their are ways to the see the race live...probably.
Like Peer to Peer music sites....there are some spots.

Indeed! :)

I couldn't deal with the U.S. F1 coverage, I watched a tiny bit of the CBS broadcast, and it was just terrible. You can't do it justice sitting in a studio thousands of miles away. The ITV crew (UK - TSN uses their feed) are second to none, they're at the track, and when they're not calling the race they're travelling with the F1 circus. They know the sport inside and out.

I downloaded the GP2 race from Imola from a certain torrent site that I dare not speak of (PM me if you are into that kind of thing), the Eurosport guys calling the race again were so much better than the Speed GP2 coverage! They actually knew who the drivers were. Shocking, I know. :)

They edited it for the time slot with the delay. Cut off Montoya's interview. Also missed a lot of racing further back, but that is Italian TV

Steve:

San Marino, Spanish, Manaco, and Siverstone will be televised in the states by CBS:

PLEASE NOTE
Formula 1 has exercised its option to put four races on broadcast television in 2006. The San Marino, Spanish, Monaco and British Grands Prix will be shown on a broadcast network prior to SPEED's delayed telecasts.

Feel free to invite U.S. unlucky bastids over to watch. :)
