i'm such at a loss of words

Justin, please pass of my condolences to the rest of the family....

I had convinced him online a few years ago to try the checkered flag club seats in Toronto, and me, gurps, bruce and justin had a great time that weekend.

we did some karting and I always remembered when a group of us had dinner one night at the armadillo in downtown T.O. We sat across from each other and chatted about many a thing, and he was always extremely supportive of my dream to open up a karting track. He was always first on my invite list to a grand opening.

Hell, I was half serious when I tried to convince him online to buy an Ariel Atom from the only US dealer in Portland, and i'd fly out and help drive it home for him. I knew it would have been a great time and trip.

He had a love of life, good food, drink and friends.

Fair winds and a following sea, my friend.

Fourrunner/B.B. was an all right guy.

I was just re-reading an old old e-mail the other day from him a few months after he left 7G Chat, he was in it three years straight.

Prayers to his family and loved ones.

All,

Thank you very much for your thoughts.

Devilmaster: Thank you for the photo. It's being added to a collage for his service.

Your stories and PMs have been helpful, and I've gathered them together and will give them to his and my families later today, and I'll continue checking for anything else.

As I said to RHR_Fan already, there's something comforting knowing that both from real-life meetups and nights spent on the forums and in chat, Bruce had friends across the country that enjoyed talking/discussing/arguing (depending who you are and how you take it) incessantly about one his passions in life: open-wheel racing. I know where I got my biting sarcasm and wit from.

Thank you all again,
Justin

I met Bruce (aka fourrunner) at the Nazareth CART Race in 2001, along with several other members of 7thGear (which I didn't even know about until I met a few of them at the CART Radio show at a local establishment that Thursday night!). Since then, I've had great times with fourrunner on the forums of 7G and OC, chat rooms, and at Toronto in 2002, as well as our little "Nazareth Speedway Send Off" at the Busch race in 2004. He always "kept it lite" and we always had a great time together.

I was truly blessed to have met him, and myself as well as my entire family send our thoughts and prayers to Bruce's family and friends.

Here's to hoping that the Goods from the Woods presents the Philidelphia FourRunner Independance Day Grand Prix becomes a reality, and that we can all be there to celebrate it together.

I don't lurk or post as much as I used to, so I'm just reading this for the first time tonite. I'm shocked and saddened. I remember Bruce first from 7G days particularly whenever there would be a PA-related thread like Nazareth or Pocono. I met him a few times at Nazareth... great guy! Here's a picture from the 7G meeting at the Section 7 sign at Nazareth, May 2000. Bruce is on the far left, and I'm right next to him. Everyone else in the photo, you know who you are too :)

I will be praying for and thinking of Bruce's family and friends.

:(

I met him online at 7G, loved to meet up in chat once in a while. Met in person in Toronto '04; had a very nice chat about building and woodworking...baseboards, actually...it was so loud at the party, I have always hoped we could continue the discussion someday at a quieter place; he was bidding against mr anait in an auction...as the price went up, I laughed and said, "Four!!" and he then realized who mr anait was, and let him win...

Dang. Met him in person only once...shouldn't hurt so much....

:(

I wish I wasn't so far away from everyone I met that weekend. But I will toast four tonight.
