That article was a mess. the headline was about the divorce, yet it's only briefly mentioned at the beginning; and no connection between being traded and the divorce. Now, what did that have to do with co-workers?

'"We learned a lot from the whole situation. You look at some of the things that were said, some of the lies that were passed, who believes what, who your friends are, who your friends aren't," he said.'

I think is what SOG was referring to with the co-worker comment. He works with these people and gossip will happen- simple fact of life.

I think it may have to do with Ms. Benson's well-publicized threat of what she would do if she ever caught her husband cheating (which is the rumor). Let's just say she promised retaliation that involved "all" of his teammates.

What's funny is that she just appeared in SI, as one of their 20 people to watch this season.

Actually, it had to do with this comment she made last year:

I told him cheat on me all you want. If you get caught, I'm going to screw everybody on your entire team. Everyone would get a turn. I will embarrass more than he ever could imagine. Whatever team he plays on, I will screw all of them.

She's the yankee version of Shaune Bagwell, only that she hasn't slept with everyone on the team already :gomer:

is it just me or does this story sound a little like one we've already seen:

involving this guy:

his wife:
http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a118/icemanstuewe/vlcsnap-18973.jpg

and his teammate:

when one day the guy did this not realizing he was on tv:
http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a118/icemanstuewe/vlcsnap-12130.jpg

so she decided to get even with him by hooking up:

and the story ended with:

I have no idea what you're trying to say, Stu. But then again, I rarely do anyway. I guess you're just smarter than me.

was the correlation to major league too hard for you to understand?

a ballplayer with a hot wife cheats on her so she cheats on him. is it really that difficult?

'scuse me for not recalling the plot of a film I saw ten years ago. All I remember was the scene when the first baseman needed chicken for a voodo ritual.

But, you are still annoying.

Nevermind: That was Bull Durham.

It is if you've never seen the damn movie.

I apologize if my captions were not clear enough. I felt that stating there was a baseball player who cheated on his wife, so his wife cheated on him with another ballplayer would help out for those who may not recall the movie so well. I thought that if I said all that it would be enough of a correlation to the original story. I guess not.

Sincerest apologies, I will dumb down future posts to make them clearer for you.

Some of us have more than 4 TV channels and three DVD's to watch. The memory gets cluttered.

Who said I had 3 DVD's?

And I didn't know that it made people cooler to have more TV channels and DVD's than someone else.
